Frequently asked questions
Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments regarding the services we offer!
Is it actually fun to catch carp?
Yes! Incredibly fun! You won't know till you try it. They are tanky fish that fight violently with powerful tails. If you're a skeptic, it's an even better reason to give it a try.
Are there hotels and restaurants near where we tour?
Absolutely!
Our Carp Craziness tour takes places in Denison, 10 minutes from several nice hotels including Hilton Garden Inn. There are some nice spots to eat nearby including Culver's.
Our Goliath Gar tour is 15 minutes from Hillsboro, where there is a hotel disctrict with many restaurants nearby. Buc-ee's is also very close!
When we get in touch for booking any location variable tours, I will be sure to inform you of convenience, hotels, and restaurants nearby any location we travel to!
Can I pay with a card?
Both cash and card work great! When booking the tour through the Square reservation site, sign in and add a card and we will charge you 24 hours before the tour takes place. You will receive a confirmation email and receipt.
What if I need to change the date last minute?
Remember, our tours are non refundable once we hit the 24 hour countdown. If you need to cancel within 24 hours of the tour, give us a call and we will try to reschedule a date that works better for you! Our mission is to get our clients on big fish--it doesn't matter what day it is!
Can I bring friends or family to watch?
You absolutely can! The important thing to remember is, we sell our services by the fishing rod. Whoever is paid for gets to use that rod for the time period they reserved. Anyone else who comes with can definitely get on a fish within that timeframe, but they will also have to pay for the rod separately.
Is beer allowed?
You may bring alcohol and tobacco products provided they are allowed at the park where we are fishing. Always double check local regulations and drink responsibly.
Why do we have to sign a waiver?
All of our tours take place near environments with risks such as deep water and sharp or loose rocks. It is your responsibility to maintain constant situational awareness and protect those within your charge.
